What is the difference between Classic, Lite & Ultra Lite?
1. What are the main differences between the Classic, Lite, and Ultra Lite ranges?
The primary differences between the three ranges lie in the width, weight and strength of the lead, as well as the type of clasp available. Here's a quick overview:
Classic: 2cm width, 400kg break strength
Lite: 1.5cm width, 338kg break strength
Ultra Lite: 1cm width, 80kg break strength
2. What types of clasps are available for each range?
Classic: Comes exclusively with an auto-lock carabiner clasp.
Lite: Offers a choice between an auto-lock carabiner clasp or a standard bolt snap clasp.
Ultra Lite: Only available with a smaller, standard bolt snap clasp.
3. Which range is suitable for my dog?
Classic: Ideal for medium to very large dogs due to its wider width and higher break strength.
Lite: Suitable for small, medium & large dogs, providing a good balance between strength and lighter weight.
Ultra Lite: Best suited for very small breeds or small breed puppies, as it offers a much lighter design and a break strength of 80kg.
Each range is designed to meet the specific needs of different dog sizes and walking preferences.

Break strength is a measure of the maximum force or load that a material or product can withstand before it breaks or fails.
All of our leads have been independantly tested to determine their break strength. The break strength of each lead and width is listed above. For the purpose of explaining how break strength works in reality, I will use our classic range as an example.
Our classic leads have a break strength of 400kg. This means that in a static situation, it can handle a force of up to 400kg without breaking.
However, it is essential to understand the difference beween the weight of the dog and the force it can exert. Even though a dog might weigh say, 60kg, the dynamic force it produces when running and stopping suddenly can be much higher. Factors such as the dog's speed, the length of the lead or longline, and how suddenly it stops, all contribute to this force.
Our leads are designed to handle the force exerted by a dog under typical conditions. However, if you were to allow your dog to run at full speed and reach the end of the line suddenly, the actual force on the lead could be significantly higher.
While our leads are robust, it is always a good idea not to let a dog run unchecked to the end of the line to ensure safety. We also recommend using a harness with a longline to reduce the risk of such force being applied to the delicate neck area.

High density nylon webbing with a waterproof PVC coating.

The PVC coating is durable and water resistant and can be quickly wiped clean.
Our waterproof leads won't absorb water, dirt or smells and won't become heavy when wet.
The waterproof lead provides a comfortable, secure grip, even when wet!

Wash in soapy water, rinse and leave to dry.
Always rinse leads after being exposed to salt water, as salt water may corrode the hardware over time.

Yes, all of our longlines contain a handle with a D ring just below the handle.

Yes! We have lots of new colours planned, but these won't all be released at once.
If there's a particular colour you want, let us know and we'll take it into consideration!

Not at the moment. We are looking into the logistics of bringing out a matching collar range. However, please understand that we want to produce high quality, safe products and this is not a quick process.
Will all leads have the new style auto-lock carabiner?

Yes all leads will include the upgraded auto-lock carabiner.
The only product range which does not have the option of the auto-lock carabiner is the ultra lite range, these are supplied with a standard bolt snap clasp.

What service provider do you use for delivery?

All our parcels are delivered by Royal Mail. If the package exceeds 3KG our parcels are delivered by DPD.
What if I'm not in?

We cannot influence delivery times with the Royal Mail or advise the Royal Mail where to leave your parcel. In most cases, if you’re not able to accept the parcel in person, your parcel will be either left in a safe place at your property, left with a neighbour or returned to the local depot with a Royal Mail card advising what has been done with your parcel.

During checkout you will see an option to add your discount code. and the discount will be applied to your basket. If you have come through an affiliate link this will automatically be applied to your basket.

Genuine codes, if typed in correctly should work on our site. If you’re trying to use a code that you’ve found on a voucher code website, it is most likely that this will not work as it’s not an authorised discount code from us.
If you’ve received a code on an email from us, then please ensure that you copy the code exactly as you see it being mindful of any spaces/upper cases.
If your code still isn’t working, then please contact us using our contact us form.

There are no additional taxes or duties to pay for UK deliveries.
For non-UK deliveries, there may be additional import taxes and duties payable on arrival in the destination country. This will vary by country, please be aware of any potential additional fees applicable to your country when placing an order with us.
If you refuse to to pay the applicable duties and taxes upon arrival at your destination country, the goods will be returned to our returns address.

You can see your order history when you log into your account. You will find details of what you have ordered in the Order History tab.
Please note you will need an account with us in order to view your order history.
If you placed an order without creating an account you can create an account at a later date using the same email address, the historical orders will automatically sync with your account.

If your order contains both in-stock and pre-order items, we'll dispatch the in-stock items first. We will then dispatch the pre-order items once they become available.
This ensures that you receive your in-stock items promptly and then your pre-order items as soon as they are available.

When your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email telling you your order is on its way. Please allow 5 working days for your order to arrive.
This e-mail will contain a unique tracking number. If you click on that tracking number, it will show you the progress of your parcels journey with the Royal Mail or DPD.
You can also log into your account and track any orders not yet received through Order History.

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return with free return shipping.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it.
To start a return, please use our contact us form and we will provide details on how to return your order. Orders sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Yes, you can now submit a return request for any eligible orders from your account page. If the return is accepted a link to download your returns label will be provided.
