HOW TO USE

CARE GUIDE

Quick Cleaning:

After an adventure, rinse your lead and hardware with fresh water to remove dirt, mud, or saltwater.

For stubborn grime, use mild soap or pet-safe detergent with a soft cloth or sponge.

Carabiner Care:

Unlike traditional spring-loaded clips, our carabiners are designed with no exposed springs, making them more resistant to jamming from sand or grit.

Pro Tip - If you do notice grit in the barrel mechanism, a quick shake or rinse will usually dislodge it.

Important: Avoid forcing the carabiner open if grit is present in the barrel. Forcing it can permanently affect the auto-lock function. Gently clean and shake it out first.

Drying:

Pat dry with a clean towel or leave to air dry.

Storage:

Store your lead in a dry place to keep it looking and performing its best.

Longevity Tips:

Regularly check the hardware, webbing and stitching to ensure everything is intact and performing as it should.

Alternative use

I brought this to hang leads from my harness but finding that it makes a great close control lead and i have been leaving it attached to my dog off lead so i can easily get hold of him if i need to. The bright colour makes it easier to see and grab. I am using this and the double ended leads with my two large male Alaskan Malamutes, they are strong and durable!

Simple but effective

Such a simple design but makes a huge difference to keeping lead neat ready to use. I walk my dog on a short lead until get to the park. Then out comes my longline that I carry in backpack. Even though these leads don't really tangle, it's still easy to get out ready with one of these to keep neat. Very pleased.
